About this course
This training explores the core characteristics of autism, including sensory and social differences, a preference for structure, and the presence of self-stimulatory behaviors (stimming) and focused interests. Participants will gain an understanding of autistic meltdowns, including how they may present and strategies for effectively supporting individuals during these experiences. Additionally, clinicians will gain knowledge of evidence-based interventions designed to support autistic clients in the therapeutic setting.
